404 Not Found #2Sides, which was published yesterday, is Rio’s story from his early days in Peckham, through to picking up the Champions League trophy on a rainy summer’s night in Moscow.

The book features a chapter about the Rio Ferdinand Foundation entitled ‘My Foundation’ where he talks about our work and how him and his Mum, Janice are involved at a trustee level.

Rio Ferdinand said on the night: “I believe you should set targets and work towards them and that’s what I’m trying to teach young people through my Foundation.

“It was set up to give opportunities to disadvantaged kids and give them the chance to get qualifications through being mentored and then becoming leaders in their own communities to get the jobs they want and get to where they want to be in life.

“If you face challenges in life then you’ve got to work even harder.”

In #2Sides, Rio talks about how the Foundation developed over the years and discusses our work in Salford, south London, South Africa and Uganda with a teaser about our soon-to-be-announced work coming in Belfast.
