Over 40 young people worked hard to successfully complete their Level 1 arts qualification

20140818_140039 Congratulations to the young people who passed their Bronze Arts Award with the Rio Ferdinand Foundation in Salford last week.

The young people completed their Arts Award portfolios over the summer while participating in arts and media courses run by the Rio Ferdinand Foundation.

To achieve their Award, the young people demonstrated that they enjoyed participating in an art form, and could reflect on their own learning progress. They showed that they could learn from their peers and could teach their skills to others. They demonstrated effective communication skills and enjoyed expressing themselves 1.PNG (2)

The Arts Award Moderator Helen Kelly was incredibly impressed with our young people and their achievements. She said that the young people she met showed “a high level of commitment to the arts participation and deep understanding of their art forms; their skills share with me was inspirational.”
