Rio Ferdinand Foundation’s Youth Video Played at Launch of National Community Cohesion Initiative

Young People from the Rio Ferdinand Foundation helped to make a film expressing positive views on equality and diversity in Greater Manchester.

The film was played at the opening of a special event hosted by the Greater Manchester Police force and City Council at the Manchester Town Hall.

404 Not Found The event launched the national #WeStandTogether campaign to encourage communities to stand together and celebrates Greater Manchester’s long and proud tradition of solidarity,  community cohesion and diversity.

Umer Khan, Chief Inspector for Cohesion at GMP said: “Thank you to all the young people who helped put together this amazing video supporting the ‘We Stand Together’ Campaign. This video was played to a capacity audience at Manchester Town Hall which included: The PCC, Chief Constable, Chief Exec of MCC, as well wider community leaders and the media.”
