RFF’s Young Leaders Run Fun Arts and Crafts Work Shop for Young People in Eccles, Salford

Do you fancy spending a fun-filled afternoon doing cool arts activities such as animation, tie-dye and other arts and crafts with afternoon tea!? If so, then our Craft-A-Noon Tea workshop is the place to be!!

The event will be held on Friday the 14th of August at 12pm – 3pm at Eccles Youth Centre, Gladstone Road, Eccles, Manchester, M30 0WY.

The Rio Ferdinand Foundation Salford team are delighted to be able to invite you to join an afternoon of teas, snacks, arts and crafts (or Craft-A-Noon Tea as we like to call it!) organised and delivered for their peers by the young women of Eccles!!

The young women leading this project have been gaining leadership skills during their time participating in our female empowerment projects. You can see some of the cool things they have been up to here: YouTube Video.

They are running this afternoon of fun as part of the International Youth Day celebrations in Salford. The young women have secured funding from the Salford Youth Council to make this event happen!

Youth Day is an annual day of activities organised by young people, for young people across the city. It aims to show the real and important contribution made by 11 to 25 year olds in all aspects of daily life in Salford. Young people make a huge and positive difference to other communities – Youth Day is all about celebrating that!
