RFF Celebrates International Youth Day in style!

International Youth Day is celebrated on the 12th of August each year to highlight the efforts of the world’s youth in enhancing global society.  It aims to promote ways to engage young people and to encourage them to become more actively involved in making positive contributions to their communities.

The Rio Ferdinand Foundation is pleased to be part of the fourth Youth Day in Salford and after the success of last year we are looking forward to another great year celebrating the young people of our community. Last year, young people from the Rio Ferdinand Foundation’s projects performed at the Salford Youth Day’s celebration party.

404 Not Found To celebrate International Youth Day RFF Salford will be holding a pop-up exhibition on the 12th of August at the Trafford Centre outside New Look from 9am to 9pm. The Exhibition will include 32 images created by the young women from St. Patrick’s RC High School & Arts College and the YCA ( Yemeni Community Association in Greater Manchester).  The young women were responding to a brief called Positive Futures in which they were set the task of illustrating something they wanted in the future either for themselves or for their local community.
