New Sport for Development Media Internship Opportunity with RFF in Salford!
The Rio Ferdinand Foundation is looking to recruit a paid Intern to help deliver a Big Lottery Funded Reaching Communities programme in Salford. However, this will develop in to other areas across Greater Manchester. Working with partners and young people to implement and help enhance delivery of our sports and arts based social inclusion programme, developing their employability skills.
A key focus of this role is producing content around the programme for all communications, marketing and digital media outputs. The role will include meeting and exceeding key performance indicators set out in the project plan.

Supporting the Programme Manager and Project Worker in the delivery and media messaging relating to a range of projects, making use of sports and creative arts as engagement tools.
To assist in creating communication strategies and campaigns and be responsible for updating the Foundation’s digital media, including Facebook, Twitter and the word press website.
To assist, under direction and support of the Programme Manager and Project Worker, our peer leadership programme which supports the social and emotional development of young people, as well as their citizenship and employability skills.
The projects work with young people both male and female predominately between 11 and 25 years of age across the Salford and Manchester areas.
The successful applicant will have key responsibilities around communications, marketing and digital media. Face-to-face delivery with young people, ensuring they are engaged in projects that are developmental, educational, innovative and meaningful.
