RFF Salford Thanks Volunteer of the Month!!!

The Rio Ferdinand Foundation would like to say a massive thank you to our wonderful volunteer of the month Frazer Crawford!

Frazer has joined our Salford team to help kick off 2016 in style!!! As a 2nd year student studying Sports Marketing at Leeds Beckett University Frazer will be supporting our team during the month of January to complete a module for his course. He will be helping us to develop upcoming projects we have in store for the year ahead. Frazer is not only looking forward to gaining some marketing experience but will also be bringing in some fresh ideas to link in with our Leadership Programme. Frazer is excited to see how quickly plans are put into action here in Salford and how they can greatly benefit the community.

404 Not Found Frazer is an avid sportsman, he’s been incredibly fortunate to travel the world within his rugby career and he has some amazing memories of the places he’s visited.

Whilst working for Manchester United as a VIP Match Day waiter Frazer has become more involved within the working background of sport.

During his time at Leeds Beckett University Frazer has developed a wide range of skills that focus on the use of marketing within the sports sector. The first of which was to understand the needs and wants of a specific customer for a certain service or product.

“During my degree I have learnt how to effectively use digital media to segment and focus on a specific target audience. Generating a sound understanding of how to use the public sector to benefit an organisation and their overall aims. Here at #RFF Salford I will be focusing on their future media outlets and how this can benefit the organisations be it sports, arts or media. I am also keen to learn how to effectively work alongside project partners and look further into future sponsorships.”
