Ties with Greater Manchester Police extended

Salford, UK – Representatives from the Rio Ferdinand Foundation were delighted to be invited to attend, and have an information stand, at the inaugural Greater Manchester Police (GMP) cadet passing out parade and event at GMP HQ in North Manchester today.

Young cadets from the North Manchester area were in attendance and following speeches by Sir Peter Fahy, Chief Constable for GMP and Tony Lloyd, Police and Crime Commissioner for Greater Manchester, proud parents, family and friends witnessed the cadets receive their certificate and beret from the Chief Constable.

Over the next few months the Rio Ferdinand Foundation and GMP will be working harder to develop the partnership further and opportunities for those enrolling in the September 2013 recruitment phase.
