Nominations are in – Rio to receive Variety International Award!

Everyone at RFF are thrilled to announce that our Trustee and Founder Rio Ferdinand has been selected to receive a prestigious award in recognition of his charitable work with young people.

Variety – the Children’s Charity’s purpose is to serve children who are less fortunate, they work all over the world with children who live and grow up with a serious illness, disability or disadvantage.

404 Not Found Rio will receive the ‘Catherine Variety Sheridan Award’ at the Variety World Conference Awards Ceremony on Saturday 30th April in Jersey. Other recipients include Julia Morley and Prof. Anil Dhawan for their Humanitarian work improving the lives of children around the world. This is Rio’s second award recently as last year he was presented with the ‘Play for Change award’ at the inaugural TV Sports Awards. Play for Change is dedicated to the provision of life changing opportunities for children and young people from disadvantaged background.
