Rio Ferdinand Foundation is pleased to introduce our new members of staff who will be joining our Head of Programmes, Victoria Lowe, in delivering a range of sports, training and digital and creative arts programmes across Greater Manchester.
Ryan Hunt joins the team as a lead youth worker across Greater Manchester and will be responsible for leading on our youth engagement and wellbeing work and supporting participants on our youth led social action programmes. Ryan is a Salford native and joins the team with extensive experience as a football coach and in the media having studied broadcasting at Salford University and hosting his own radio show on Reform Radio for two years. Ryan is a full-time qualified youth worker and brings a fantastic skills base to our Manchester programmes.
Justin Garner joins us as our digital and creative arts lead, supporting young people in Oldham to build skills and access progression routes and careers in Oldham as part of our partnership with Oldham Opportunity Area, Oldham Council and BT Skills for Tomorrow. Justin is a a nationally qualified youth worker with 20 years of experience working with young people facing challenges in Greater Manchester. Justin has also worked as a freelance professional photographer, producing his own work and working with young people to teach them the skills and technology required in that industry. Justin brings a wealth networks and experience in both youth work and the creative arts.
