Movers and shakers from the music world inspired budding music professionals at a community event organised by RFF London.

Comedian Max Da cab driver hosted the two-hour event, which took place at London South Bank University (LSBU) on April 12 and hosted 50 young people.

The event’s panellists included Big Zuu, Justin ‘Merlin’ Emanuel Boreland and Anthony Goldsbrough, a tour manager and backing singer to numerous artists including Ed Sheeran, Olly Murs and Josh Groban. Among the other panellists were female rap artist Alora as well as Amanda Maxwell, who is part of the music team at the Boiler Room, an online platform which streams live music sessions around the world.

Big Zuu, who released his first self-titled EP in August 2017,  said: “It was a great event, discussing important topics in the industry. We need to see more events like this for young people”
