RFF Welcome Freelance Communications Assistant to the Team

ā€œIā€™m delighted to be welcomed into the Rio Ferdinand Foundation team! I have a lot of admiration for the great work that RFF do to support and empower local young people so to have the opportunity to help share their stories is fantastic.ā€

Last month, the Rio Ferdinand Foundation welcomed Jenny Liversidge to their team as Freelance Communications Assistant. Jenny will be supporting the team in Salford to share the work of RFF and the stories of the young people they support.

Jenny comes from a youth work, communications and design background and has worked with organisations including the Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network, where she delivered ambassadorial and marketing projects to reduce the stigma of apprenticeships; national youth leadership charity UpRising, where she supported young people to develop their leadership skills and gain employment through social action; and the Greater Manchester Youth Network, where she led communications and won the North West Charity Award for Best Social & Digital Media in 2018.

After seven years of project and communications management in the youth and voluntary sector, Jenny has recently made the decision to pursue a freelance communications and design career and works with RFF on a freelance basis.
