RFF Manchester Summer Dance Project at Media City

It’s the holidays!! Six long weeks of no school! The idea sounds great, but in reality they can get a bit boring when there is nothing to do… The folks down at Oasis Hub, Media City UK have got you sorted if this is the case by putting on the Summer Sports and Lunch Club!!

The basis of the club is food and fun, offering activities including sports, arts, crafts and cooking all with a free delicious lunch! RFF Manchester joined in on the fun by offering dance sessions with our lovely instructor Jess! The participants learnt routines to some of their favourite songs such as Galway Girl by Ed Sheeran. We were amazed just how quickly the dancers picked up the routines, considering that most of the dancers had never had a lesson before!

The summer club kicks off again from 14th – 31st August, so if you are looking for something to do during your summer holiday, are based in Salford and aged between 9 – 11 then you are in luck! Book now to avoid disappointment, as spaces are limited by contacting adam.webster@oasismediacityuk.org

If you are aged 14 – 25 and fancy running your own sports, arts or media project over the summer holidays then get in touch with RFF and we’ll help you plan something fun and free for all of your friends! Email anna@rioferdinandfoundation.com for more details

RFF would like to thank our funders The Big Lottery and our partners Oasis Academy and Jess Pearson Dance for their support with this project!
