This week RFF Manchester has had some help in the office from Reagan and Nicole who have been on voluntary work placement as Admin Assistants!
The girls both attend the Skills Company, which is one of the largest providers of work based learning for young people and adults.
Reagan and Nicole were introduced to RFF through our work-ready programme with partners BT. They have both attended our BT Bootcamp and Reagan is currently taking part with the 3-week Work-Ready Programme. You can read about what they got up to at the bootcamp here:
This week the girls have been helping us with all sorts! They have mastered our online systems to update all the registration accounts, purchased orders to the office, designing calendars, searching for venues as well as typing up and organising all the current projects.
During our sports, arts and media projects the girls well and truly got stuck in! Working alongside us in a range of venues and carrying out lots of different tasks with our coaches and facilitators.
The girls took photos of our projects and they then shared these images via our social media platforms as well as participating and  playing football!
Reagan also worked on developing her presentation skills and by the end was able to talk about her chosen topic for a full 5 minutes! Reflecting back at the end of the week they told us that they enjoyed going out and getting involved the most.
Both Reagan and Nicole did absolutely fantastically, they were willing to try everything we asked of them and we wish them the best in the future.
RFF Manchester would like to thank you both so much for all our hard work, we’d also like to thank our funders the Big Lottery for allowing us to give such opportunities.
