Health & Wellbeing

Much of our work with young people is geared towards developing positive lifestyles, building good emotional health and wellbeing (EHWB) and strengthening resilience. The young people we support under this theme are often living in poverty and are vulnerable to developing poor mental health due to being Looked After Children, affected by adversity & trauma – violence, abuse & neglect, young offenders, young people who are Not in Education, Employment or Training, asylum seekers and young parents/carers.

Key programmes under this pillar of work include our Children in Need funded Youth Leaders programme in Salford and our newly developed ‘Worth My Wellbeing’ work.
