Cross-border mission receives £1.2m boost.

The Rio Ferdinand Foundation has been awarded a substantial £1,064,911 (1,253,574 euros) in PEACEPLUS funding, a significant boost to our mission.

The Foundation’s work will be supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The funds will significantly amplify the Foundation's cross-border partnership work and mission to connect communities and support peace and reconciliation.

The Rio Ferdinand Foundation is one of 15 projects funded with an allocation of £29,210,173 (34,385,137 euros). The funds which have been made available from a partnership between the European Union, the UK and Irish governments, and the Northern Ireland Executive, will directly fund initiatives that will benefit more than 50,000 people.

This funding is a testament to the Foundation's successful track record. Since 2016, the Foundation has implemented various impactful partnership programmes on the Island of Ireland.

We are delighted to be awarded £1.2m in Peaceplus funding, a significant boost to our work across the island of Ireland. The funds will significantly amplify the Foundation’s cross-border partnership work and mission to connect communities and support peace and reconciliation.

We look forward to working with the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) and local partners to take our programmes to another level.
