    Rio worked hard to develop his professional sporting and respected media careers. As our Patron and Founder, Rio is keen to share his experiences with young people from similar backgrounds and use his networks to create opportunities for young people to help level the playing field.

    Ambassador and Advisor

    Since the June 2020 image of him rescuing a far-right protestor from serious harm during the BLM protests went viral, life has not been the same for Patrick. A renowned social activist and author of “Everyone Versus Racism” Patrick will support the creation and promotion of initiatives that tackle racism and division in society.

    Music Ambassador

    Heather is a London-born multi-million selling artist and long time social activist keen on speaking out on issues close to her heart. She joined the Foundation initially to support our youth-led United Against Racism social action programme supporting young people to bring communities together to tackle racism

  • Colin Salmon

    Arts Ambassador

    Colin is a talented performer having appeared in over 30 feature films since the 90’s, including three James Bond movies, and various TV roles. Colin has family connections in Belfast and is dedicated to building pathways for underrepresented young people across all areas of the arts and film industries.

    Music Ambassador

    In late 2023, Sello joined the Foundation as a music ambassador on the island of Ireland.

    Coming from a working class background and of migrant heritage, the talented rapper and Warner Music Ireland artist has an unsurmountable community spirit with a true passion for inspiring and influencing young people in Ireland to reach their maximum potential.

    Social and Digital Media Ambassador

    Joel is vastly experienced in the social and digital world, starting his own business Cheeky Sport as well as being the content manager for Five UK - a hub for football content funded by Rio Ferdinand.

    Joel joins the Foundation to share his experience in social media and business to young people across the country and beyond to help inspire the next crop of talent in the industry.
